What type of cryptocurrency sources does Jinca support?
Jinca offers seamless connectivity to a wide range of self-custodial wallets, including both hardware and software options, as well as exchanges. Our platform is currently integrated with several leading exchanges, and we are constantly expanding our integration capabilities to incorporate more in the near future. As a wallet-agnostic solution, Jinca is designed to integrate with all cryptocurrency storage providers and sources, allowing for a flexible and adaptable user experience.
Is it necessary to have my crypto in a single wallet to use the service?
It is not necessary to keep your crypto assets always in a single wallet, as long as it is configured as a Source in Jinca.
What is the API KEY and SECRET KEY and where can I find them?
An API Key and Secret Key are a pair of codes that we store encrypted and allow us the communication between our platform and the integrated exchanges to make withdrawals on your behalf ONLY when JINCA is executed and ONLY to the destinataries you have configured. Where to find them depends on each exchange, that is why in the process of adding a new source, you will find a PDF with the step-by-step process. It is a very simple process.
What is the function of the password when configuring a self-custodial wallet?
This password is used to encrypt and decrypt the seed phrase after JINCA has been executed. It is very important that you share this password with the person you have defined as the destinatary, as without it they will not be able to access your cryptocurrencies. JINCA has no access nor can read this password and the only way of changing it is to delete the self-custodial wallet configuration and create it again with a new one.
